Cadillac Repair: BCM memory failure, memory failure, point answer

Question
QUESTION: I looked at the engine diagnostics using the dash board display and see the following codes, B120, B122, B334, B411 and B552. Additionally, a phrase is displayed "BCM memory failure"  I bought this 88 Seville knowing there are problems.  Where is a good starting point?

ANSWER: Make SURE that the battery is charged enough to start the car if possible.

The fIRST thing you want to do is to CLEAR (erase ) ALL of these codes and see which ones come back.

To erase the codes:

1. Go ahead and redisplay the codes via the OFF and WARMER buttons and when you see .7.0

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and LO buttons until you see F.0.0 and release the buttons.

3. Push and release AUTO to exit diagnostics.

4. If possible, Drive the car or start the engine or just turn the ignition key back ON and check for codes and see what codes come back as F codes or FF codes.

Tell me EXACTLY what ALL displays on the display.

QUESTION: Step 2, Simul push of OFF and LO has no effect.  Also, step 3, Push and release AUTO to exit diagnostics has no effect.  The original codes B120, B122, B334, B411 and B552 and the BCM memory failure errors persist.  Is there another method to clear these codes?  Charles

Answer
My apologies I was thinking DEVILLE and not SEVILLE.

OK, Go ahead and re-enter diagnostics via the OFF and warmer buttons and after the codes display you will see ECM?

2. Press and release the LO button and you will see BCM?

3. Keep pushing and releasing the LO button  until you see BCM CLEAR CODES?

4. Push and release the HI button and you will see BCM CODES CLEAR.

5. Wait 3 seconds and push and release the RESET button on the drivers information center.

6. Re-enter diagnostics and see which codes return as CURRENT (C) or HISTORY (H) codes as current or history will appear as each code appears. Just write down EXACTLY what displays and let me know.
