Cadillac Repair: Rough Idle, cadillac sedan deville, gas mileage

Hey Tom,I have a 1988 Cadillac Sedan Deville 4.5L.  I am having a problem with rough idle and pour gas mileage.  I checked the codes and got a E30(idle speed control circuit)I cleared the codes and the next day the service soon light came on and i get the E30 code again.  I was wondering if there is a way to test the idle speed control motor.  I checked it visually with the engine running and it was moving but didn't seem to be adjusting the idle high enough.  Thanx for any help that you can offer.

You will need to replace the ISC motor and adjust it after installation.

QUESTION: did you in anyway what-so-ever make any adjustments to anything to try and correct the rough idle and if you have, What did you do.
