Cadillac Repair: 1990 Cadilac deville, climbing a hill, climate control

Question
I have a problem with fuel delivery I think. When driving for about 20 miles today stopping briefly at yard sales. The car started hesatating some bucking like not enough fuel getting into injectors. Idling it runs good even if you rev it some. It seems to do more when you but some stain on like climbing a hill or speeding up some. Could it be fule filter or need throttle body area cleaned? Also how do I run a code test on this car. Thanks
