Cadillac Repair: oil light still on, cadillac seville sls, cadillac seville

i just had my oil changed on a 1996 cadillac seville sls but the oil light is still on.  what is causing this?  could it be the oil sensor

Follow this procedure:

1. Ignition ON, Engine OFF.

2. press the INFORMATION button several times until the OIL LIFE INDEX message appears.

3. Press and HOLD the RESET button until the display reads 100.

4. Turn OFF key.

5. Start engine.
