QuestionI just had a new compressor installed. They messed with codes and it won't cycle on unless they bypassed. What input codes should I be seeing on the computer? Are there any other things I should be looking for?
AnswerYou need to retrieve the CODES from the computer and let me know what they are.
1. Turn ignition switch ON, Engine OFF.
2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons on the climate control panel and you will see ALL the segments of the display light up and release the buttons after 3 seconds.
3. Codes will appear in the form of P38 or F39 or any combination of letters and numbers.
4. As each code displays the word CURRENT or HISTORY will appear after EACH code. Once the display stops turn OFF the ignition.
I need to know what codes you get ansd if EACH CODE is CURRENT or HISTORY.
