Cadillac Repair: 95 Eldorado suspension, control error, eldo

Question
Tom,
I have a 95 eldo that insist the back end wants to be jacked up about a foot above normal. Service ride control error message is on. Struts will "reinflate" if you bleed them down and it is back up again. I finally removed the fuse that runs the pump and it is almost driving normal. What can be wrong?

Answer
The most likely fault is failure of the HEIGHT SENSOR which is located under the car near the rear wheel. I can provide pictures and test procedures if you e-mail me at: onlineautohelp@msn.com and include all of this information as well as your question and YEAR-MODEL of vehicle.
