Cadillac Repair: my 94 Seville, cadillac seville sls, cadillac seville

Question
QUESTION: HI!    Thanks for taking part of your time to help
My 1994 cadillac Seville sls v8
The problem with my 94 seville is that after 15 or 20 minutes of running it will
turn off and the same will happen if you are driving it, also the dashboard shows
the message  " Service ride control system or something like that" but a guy told
that the shocks need to be replace!

ANSWER: The service ride control message has NOTHING to do with the shutting OFF of the cars engine or with the shocks.

You need to find out whether you are losing FUEL or spark to the spark plugs when the car shuts OFF before we can do any diagnostics.

IS or HAS the CHECK ENGINE light on the dash EVER illuminated ?.

Perform this test for CODES:

1. Ignition ON, Engine OFF.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons on your climate control panel for 3 seconds and release them.

3. Diagnostic codes will appaer in the form of LETTER/NUMBER combinations along with the word CURRENT or HISTORY with each code that displays on your fuel data panel.

4. The display will stop at PCM.

5. Turn ignition OFF.

6. Tell me what codes display and if each code is CURRENT or HISTORY.

QUESTION: This are the codes that come up all them on HISTORY
p034          p095
p052          p109
p071          I052

And that I remember the check engine light does not appear on the
dashboard!

I hope and this helps
ANSWER: Replace the MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE (MAP) SENSOR unleess you can find a problem with the vacuum hose that is attached to it or near it.

Once the sensor is replaced or the rubber hose fixed, CLEAR all the codes from the computer.

QUESTION:
I replace the MAP Sensor and  the hose is good, is doing the samething but is
doing it more often! I clear the codes and drove it in the apt complex and this
are the codes that are coming now:

         P071          p095         S061         all them in history

Answer
P071 = intermittent MAP sensor signal.

P095 = engine stall detected.

S061 = Right front position sensor fault.

Since they are all HISTORY codes I can provide pictures and test procedures for you to follow to find the problem.
