car will not start or turn over. tried turning the car on for 25 minutes for security restart and still nothing happen.also try looking for inline fuse running from the battery to ignition, found several green oblong thing,but couldn't get them open.(under the hood).everything esle works.

Jumper the single wire on the "S" post of the starter of which I believe is colored PURPLE to the larger battery post and see if the engine turns over.

If it does, On the battery post of the starter are a couple of RUBBER covered wires which are fusible links. test each end of these fusible links for battery voltage and replace any that do not have battery voltage at both ends.

Will the engine turn over in NEUTRAL ?
