QUESTION: everything checks out fine.  headlights, tail lights and brake lights and interior lights are all fine.  i think it is a fuseable link elsewhere.  will have to check them all.  All i have to do is find the bad one and buy a fuse and put it in, right.

Answer
NO. A FUSIBLE LINK is a rubber covered wire about 3" long and has aluminum wire inside if it. The wire may appear OK from a visual look, But can be melted internally. Check both ends of the fusible link for battery voltage.

NEVER EVER check fuses with a TEST LIGHT as you can get a FALSE POSITIVE.

ALWAYS use a VOLT METER and make sure you have battery voltage of the EXACT SAME voltage on both side of the fuse.
