Cadillac Repair: 97 Honda Civic power lock cannot be locked, cadillac area, civic power

The passenger side door cannot be locked by using the remote key, although I can see that the lock tries to lock. Also, there is no problem to lock the door manually.

Hi Julia,

      Somehow your Honda question got in my Cadillac area. Not being too familiar with them the most likely answer would be a weak power door lock actuator/motor. If the lock works normal and not stiff when you manually lock and unlock it then I would say that you need to have the door lock actuator replaced.
