Cadillac Repair: 97 deville no battery charge symbol, electronic leak detector, amp fuse

Question
I have a 97 Deville it won't start straight up but it always stars i already got a new starter and alternator what could be the problem? Also the dash keeps reading no battery charge but it will run and drive ok. There is a lot of white smoke coming out of my mufflers and I beleive my A/C has a leak it will blow but not cold air i changed the thermostate. Can you please help me with my problems?

Answer
If your pumping WHITE smoke out of the exhaust when the car is partially or fully warmed up, This is a sign of faulty head gaskets.

To test the NO CHARGE light:

1. Start the engine and check for voltage at the "L" terminal of the alternator. If you DO have voltage, Check the (IGN 1  10 AMP) fuse in the engine compartment fuse/relay center.

As for the AC leak you need to use an ELECTRONIC LEAK DETECTOR to find the leak.
