Cadillac Repair: 1984 Cadillac Eldorado, cadillac eldorado, starter car

QUESTION: Bought this for 16 year old as a starter car! Owner claims all digital displays worked 2 months ago, has sat in yard since then.
The only lights that show when car is started are the "dummy" lights (oil, etc.) No speed, gas, and any others that should be there. We looked at all fuses, they are not burnt out, car is in fair condition, but others before us have done work , so we need some where to begin.

ANSWER: Does the climate control panel, fuel meter and all other displays work ?.

QUESTION: yes,the blower motor does not seem to work though,but the climate control,fuel meter does work.

Just above the blower motor there is a POWER MODULE that is mounted in the top of the big black plastic housing which the blower motor is also mounted to. It should be held in by 3 7mm screws and when you remove it you will see a large aluminum seat sink attached to the bottom. replace this module.
