Cadillac Repair: 94 Seville codes, tcc solenoid, manifold gaskets

Question
I have a '94 seville, I have a problem with codes 39 and 71 continually reappearing, 39 states a tcc solenoid, 71 the map sensor, I have replaced the map sensor, the new sensor has been checked and the voltage at the plug, all is correct and working. the car has new intake manifold gaskets and a new fuel pump, was hard to start before and lacked power, the codes were present before the work was done, car now starts instantly runs like a watch, the codes have been erased now 5 times, and yet keep reappearing, the service engine soon light does come on occasionally, but not always, sometimes I can drive for a hundred miles and no service light, other times it will come right away. the car will do 26.3-27.5 mpg with the service light off, this will drop to 22.3 when the light comes on. If I turn the car off and restart it, the light is out, and sometimes will stay out for the next 100 miles, car performance does not seem to change if
the light is on or off. I have been told there is a second map sensor, is this so??? and if so where is it? Since the new map sensor has been checked and know to be working properly, I question whether the tcc solenoid is at fault, the transmission seems to work perfectly and at 70mph, the tach reads around 2200rpms, the tach reading doesn't change whether the service light is on or not.
Any suggestions on what I should look for next would be helpful. I'm wondering if there is a complete different problem that could cause these could to come up.

Answer
You ALWAYS repair the LOWEST code number FIRST, Then clear the codes and see what comes back.

In your case you need to repair the TCC solenoid FIRST which is the 39 code.
