Cadillac Repair: air conditioner, cadillac coupe, electrical switch

I have a 1982 Cadillac coupe deille 4.1 engine when using the air conditioner on
cold after a while there is a click and it starts to blow out hot air this continues
until you stop the engine, it's then OK again for a while then all starts again

Try replacing the 2 wire electrical switch on the accumulator/ Receiver-Drier.

It is a round switch with a round 2 wire plug attached to it.

Just remove the wire harness and unscrew the switch and replace it. You will NOT lose any freon as there is a check valve in the fitting where the switch goes.
