Cadillac Repair: 1990 caddy seville change oil, oil life, change oil

just had oil changed and the shop forgot to reset the change oil light. how can i do this with out having to drive back to the shop

Hi Ray,

     All you need to do is push the Eng. Data button with the key on or engine running until it displays the oil life on the panel. Then push the Eng. Data and Range buttons at the same time and hold for 3 seconds or until the number changes to 100. At that point the oil life is reset. Bill
