Answer
Hi Kevin,

      Congrats on getting to 200K.

By the way you describe the symptoms it sure sounds like you have injector problems because the engine will idle good cold and rough after it warms up. Normal injectors ohm out around 12 ohms at aprox. 70 degrees F. If all of your injectors are around 16 ohms then sounds like you will be replacing all of them which for your mileage isn't uncommon.

What I would do is let the engine sit overnight and re ohm all the injectors and see what they are. If they are still over 12 ohms and you would replace all 8 then buy 1 and measure its resistance...you could do this at the parts store if they would let you before you buy it...and replace any that are more than .5 ohm difference. I have a special tester that puts .5amps through the injector like the ECM does and then reading a voltmeter you know which ones are bad.

     Fuel pressure is in specs.

As for the check engine light, when it comes on leave the engine running and push the off and warmer buttons on the climate control panel for 5 seconds or until it goes into diagnostics. Look on the fuel data panel and see what the EEcode is and that is the one you need to repair.

Let me know what it is if you need more help. Bill
