You cannot use the climate control panel to access fault codes for this year and type of engine due to it being an oldsmobile engine that was put in this year vehicle by the factory.

Therefore you have to use the ALDL connector under the dash as you would with an Oldsmobile 80's model and count the light flashes.

You can take it to most any parts place, Call them first, and they will get the codes with a scanner.
