QuestionQUESTION: Car running good prior to my taking it off the road for 6 month, tried starting it up a couple of days ago ,it started up ran for about 30 seconds and stopped dead, started car up again , the same, tried starting again , no luck,dead, fuel in the filter ok I would assume the fuel is getting from the tank to the filter but but not to the jets, the inside of the carb below jets doe's not appear wet I checked fuel filter and bowl is alway's full I am unable to the car . what could be the problem???

QUESTION: still get ignition, car turns over but will not not run.
I would say I am losing fuel, does not appear to be getting to injectors. I am not a mechanic so my knowledge is limited . fuel filter is in the line just under the driver side door I have it checked 2 times and emptied it of gas and then checked again to make sure there is a flow to the filter.
ANSWER: Remove one of the 2 wire fuel injector harnesses from the injector.
Check for battery voltage on ONE terminal. If you have battery voltage on ONE terminal then proceed.
Take test light and put the test light alligator clip one one of the 2 wires and the tip of the test light on the other wire in the same connector.
Crank the car and see if the test light flashes ON and OFF.
Repeat with other injector wires.
If no test light flashing ON and OFF, replace computer.
NOTE: when you are cranking the engine to try and start it, Can you see fuel spraying from the injectors ?.

QUESTION: Sorry for delay....checked all of the above , no luck I have also found that the diagnostic codes do not show when called on the digital screen , could this be further proof of ECM FAILURE ???? CHECKED GAS LINE GOING INTO INJECTOR BODY AND THERE IS GAS IN LINE!!!!
AnswerTake one of the injector wires OFF the injector.
Turn ignition ON.
One terminal should have battery voltage. DOES IT ?
If it DOES, Put the test light in place of the injector and crank the engine and see if the test light flashes ON and OFF. DOES IT ?. If NOT, Replace the ECM computer.
To enter diagnostics:
1. Ignition ON. Engine OFFF.
2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons for 3 seconds and release them.
3. Diagnostic codes should appear and then stop displaying.
4. Do you get any codes ?
