just bought 1994 cadilac concours 4.6l 32 valve northstar.displayshows service ride control intermittently  is it simple or junk.

Hi Brenda,

      Without knowing the code thats turning on the message I really don't know how to answer your question. It could be as simple as a height sensor that you could replace or a defective strut.

      What you need to do is see what the codes are. With the key on, push off and warmer on the climate control for 5 seconds or until the display goes into diagnostics. At that point the codes will start to display. Pay attention to the S codes and if any show current. At that point you could e-mail me back and I could tell you what they mean or you could go to your mechanic and get a diagnostic done.

     Since you just bought the car is there a warranty that might apply like 3 months or 3,000 miles? Let me know if you need anymore help. Bill
