Cadillac Repair: 1988 Cadillac Deville, cadillac deville, orange wire

QUESTION: I don't have the digital dash lights,heater fan doesn't work. do you have any idea. I have power the radio on the orange wire but not the orange and black and I don't know what the gray and white is for? can you help?
ANSWER: What are we fixing ? The radio or the blower motor ?.

QUESTION: The subject is wrong I meant a 1988 Cadillac Deville with a 4.9 liter V8. Sorry, I stated the question wrong. I do have a blower motor problem but I don't think it is linked to the other problem unless it is the BCM is gone bad. I don't have the digital display on the dash, fuel, or the heater control. I know if you jumper the orange wire and the orange and black striped wire that goes to the radio the digital displays work. I don't know if they are related or not. Don't own a service manual for the car and need help to make sure I'm not putting my money were it don't belong. If you can help greatly appreciate it.

NEVER EVER jumper any wires unless you know what your doing as these computer systems have voltages from  variations of 1 to 16 volts in some of the components.
