Cadillac Repair: 1987 Cadillac Deville - temp fan light, vacuum line, cadillac deville

Question
I have a 1987 Cadillac Deville. The temp fan light comes on when I engage the a/c. There are two cooling fan in the car. The large one comes on after the car has been on for awhile. The second smaller fan which I am assuming is the coolant fan does cycle on and off when the a/c is on but the temp cooling fan light comes on and stays on until I turn the a/c off. I looked at another response you gave to this problem. I also turned the heat all the way up to 90 and turned it on. The heat is normal and the temp fan light does NOT come on. Also if I could ask you one more thing about another problem. I recently had the car at a shop because the cruise control wasn't working. They fixed it and said it was just a vacuum hose that came off. Ok now the cruise control works great but there is no air blowing out of my front vents, it just comes out of the defrost and the on the floor. Please help me. Thanks Laura

Answer
The smaller fan is for the AC system and anytime the AC is ON, The temp light (wheel) will be ON on the climate control panel. This is normal.

There is still a vacuum line that is loose that comes off the engine and thru the firewall and in under the dash for the AC/Heat system.

Did it work properly BEFORE they fixed the cruise control ?. If it did, take the car back and tell them.
