Answer
Hi David,

I'm going to need alittle more information about what is happening. When the car couldn't start does the starter make any noise? Does the starter turn the engine? Slowly or at normal speed but not stay running when you release the key?

If I understand you correctly you are saying the engine doesn't turn at all when the key is turned and the battery is charged.

Try to start the engine in neutral. Take a DC voltmeter or 12 volt test light and see if it shows battery voltage on the small terminal at the starter. If it does then the starter or solinoid is bad. If you do not get any voltage and there is a pellet in the ignition key take an ohmeter and measure the key by placeing an ohmeter lead on each side of the key and see what it reads. Then buy a 1/4 watt or bigger resistor closest to that reading and below the steering column you will see 2 small white wires with an orange covering going to a connector. Unplug the connector and install the resistor on the wires that are going away from the steering column. Then when you turn the key the starter should work.

Let me know what happens if you need more help. Bill
