Cadillac Repair: weird ques, msd blaster, chevy 350

i have a 1983 Cadillac deville with the HT4100 in it and it seem to have a slight problem when i hit the gas it dies out and dose not wanna go its back fires some times too but most of all i just wanna know some areas to target to maybe fix this i have already had oil changed, motor flushed, injector cleaner, changed fuel filter,and what are some good things to do to this motor to improve it

Check the ignition system starting with the distributor cap and rotor and then the cables and spark plugs. To improve it a nice flowmaster 40 series will make it sound like a chevy 350 with a crossflow pipe. Something like a hushpower wont be as loud but will help with back pressure, Cutting the cat will boost torque by about 30 lbs, these are some amazing motors, when they are all motor. They are tortured with all the gvt mandated crap that cadillac put on them. An msd blaster coil will help your spark accuracy above 3,000 rpm.
