Cadillac Repair: BCM, remote car starter, cadillac fleetwood

  I have a 93 cadillac fleetwood RWD I need to replace my BCM and have gotten one from the bone yard that is good..The only trouble is this car has the vats keypass on it and also has a remote car starter. When i place the new bcm in it the keypass will not let it start. is there a way around this or is there something i can do to change the resistor to match the key?Iam at a loss here and don't know where to go from here... Any help would be great

Check the connections first on the bcm to the pcm and then the connections through the firewall and make sure they are all connected good. Other than that you have to re program the vats system. Keep in mind the VATs is a completely sepereate unit from the BCM. I doubt its the vats that is the problem.
