Can you tell me how to adjust The AVR system on this Vehicle? And does have any thing to do with the shifting of The 4L60E trans in this vehicle? Also what does AVR stand for? Thanks alot Kirk

Hi Kirk,

      I found the bulletin I was looking for and what it addresses is a harsh 1-2 shift if the adjustment isn't correct. However I couldn't find what AVR starnds for.

      After looking the bulletin over it would be best to go to the Caddy dealer and have them print it up so you will have all the steps and the picture to reference. Also if you don't have accesss to a 1/4" torque wrench and a scan tool that can show the TPS voltage it would be best to have them adjust it.

     The bulletin number is T-93-59, group 7, number 253, Corp. ref. No. 317102, dated March 1993
