Cadillac Repair: 1994 CADILLAC CONCOURSE, service engine soon light, letters and numbers

My 1994 Cadillac start perfect we start driving It takes first gear fine, second is done with no problem. NOW at 34 miles per hour the SERVICE ENGINE SOON light comes on the vehicle will not take another change. I have to accelerate a lot to make it run. I feel like it needs to change that last gear. What is it that gives the transmission the signal to change gears? Could it be a sensor problem? HELP PLEASE

Perform this procedure:

1. Ignition switch ON. Engine OFF.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER ^ buttons for 3 seconds and release them.

3. You will see diagnostic codes appear in the form of letters and numbers.

4. I need to know how many times each number appears. If the same # appears TWICE I need to know this.

If you cannot write down all the #'s as quickly as they appear, just turn OFF the ignition and start over again.

5. When you have all the letters and numbers written down EXACTLY as if you were video-taping them. let me know what they are.
