Cadillac Repair: will not fire, pickup coil, coil pickup

Question
i have a 1977 caddy deville it turns over but i have no fire what do i do next to fix this

1. see if your distributor is turning with the distributor cap off as you crank the engine.

2. If it is, Your problem can be the:

ignition coil. Pickup coil. ignition module.


Do you have the ignition coil in the distributor cap or is it seperate from the distributor cap ?.
