Cadillac Repair: Speakers, pep boys, rivots

Hi, I was just wondering how i go about installing new speakers in my 1997 Cadillac Deville. How do i get to the speaker and are there any tips/special tools needed?

You can either take off the speaker panel, if it can be removed without the whole door panel, or take out the door panel starting with the power window, locks, and lights. You can pull it off but a door clip tool sold at pep boys or a auto shop is a lot safer. They are most likely held in by standard screws or a allen key head screw, but theres a possiblity cadillac went import style and rivoted them in, in which case you need a drill to drill the rivots out. Have you bought the speakers yet?
