Cadillac Repair: 1998 Catera Brake lights inop and Drive side has no heat, check fuse, brake light switch

1998 Catera--LH, RH and third brake light will not come on.  All other lights work.  Don't know for how long, noticed after changing front pads today.  Checked all fuses, all are good.

Same car--Driver side blowing cold air on all settings, passenger side has warm air.  Checked all fuses, all are good.

Any information is always a pleasure.

Check the brake light switch under the dash at the brake pedal.

The RED wire should have battery voltage ALL THE TIME.

The BLACK/YELLOW wire should have battery voltage when you step on the brake. If NOT, replace the brake light switch.

If NO battery voltage on the RED wire at all times check fuse # 12 a 20 amp fuse in the fuse panel.
