-----Question-----
this is the brake light only,(just the top of the three lights). Tail or running lights not evolved.  Some one told my it might be a computer issue?
I also have a problem with the security system going off when there are no issues and now i leave the drivers door unlocked to prevent the alarm system from going off.  Also the inside lights will come on and go off while I am driving at night.  Taking out the interior light fuse keeps them off all the time.

-----Question-----
part of the taillights turn on at night resulting in a dead battery.  the brake switch works correctly only the top bulb on each side turns on (pumping the brake pedal puts the rest of the brake lights on. pulling the brake fuse prevents this from happening.  Mart
-----Answer-----
Is the fault the tail lights or the brake lights. You can tell by the intensity of the bulb when it is lit.
-----Answer-----
The interior lights could be a faulty door button switch at the door jamb or a faulty ILLUMINATED ENTRY TIMER located on the right hand side of the instrument panel on the relay bracket.

What is the name by the fuse and the amperage rating of the fuse that you pull to turn out the stop lamps?.

Answer
OK, With the fuse back in, locate the brake switch up under the dash mounted on the brake arm.

There are 3 wires at the brake switch. ORANGE, WHITE and YELLOW.

With the fuse IN the fuse box there should be battery voltage at the ORANGE WIRE ONLY.

If you step on the brake pedal then you will have battery voltage at all 3 wires.

If you have battery voltage at the WHITE or YELLOW wire with the brake pedal released, Replace the brake switch.
