Cadillac Repair: starter disable on 98 deville, car wont start, alarm system

have a 98 deville car will not start on the dash it says starting disable remove keys. took out after market alarm and put a starter in the car. have any ideals on why car wont start?

Usually the anti-theft and starter interrupt systems keep it from starting. However, Who knows what was butchered when the aftermarket alarm system was installed. It could be any one of numerous devices or lockout modules.

You need to have your dealer test the modules.
