My girlfriend was playing the viser while i had my stereo going like she was opening and closing it so the lights went on and off but when she stopped my heater my speedometer and my gas gauge that were all digital dont work anymore the LCD wont light up my car is a 1988 sedan Deville

Does the visor still work ?. Did you check all your fuses. Is there anything displayed on the displays ?.




I have no spedometer i have no fuel gauge and no stereo my visor works and everything else works so its kinda confusing me

To get your girlfriend off the hook. She had NOTHING to do with this fault.

You either have a faulty BCM (computer), a faulty instrument cluster or a break in the printed circuit board on the backside of the cluster.

You are going to need several pictures of electrical schematics to perform test procedures on the instrument cluster. The cluster will have to be removed to perform the tests. Contact me at: onlineautohelp@msn.com and include your question.
