Cadillac Repair: 1994 cadillac deville, cadillac deville, temperature switch

Question
The "Stop Engine  Enginge Overheated" warning keeps coming on and it even comes on when you first start up the car.  
How do I fix this.
The car is not runnning hot

Answer
Replace the ENGINE METAL TEMPERATURE SWITCH and or check the 2 wire black and light green wires for a short. If no short or damage to the wires is found replace the switch which is located on the backside of the engine near the spark plugs next to the dipstick.
