Question -
ABS light and traction control light on spedometer not working. What could this be? 1998 year.

Answer -
Catera's require the use of an advanced electronic scanner in order to diagnose the problem of which your dealer has.

yes i am a car dealer took it to the cadillac dealer and they said speed sensor, but could not tell me what one there are four (4).

Answer -
Your going to have to ask them what the CODE # was that the scanner produced.

Answer -
I can get the code # because I have a high dollar scanner. But I do not have access to the vehicle in order to get the code #. Without the code # there is NOTHING we can do.

Answer
Your fault is within the:

ECM (computer)
Theft deterrent module
EBTCM (Electronic Brake Traction Control module.

Without the scanner there is no way to test these components.

I can e-mail you the diagnostic procedures for all the codes if you want. Contact me at: onlineautohelp@msn.com
