Question -
I have a 1994 cadillac concourse deville. sometimes it shakes when i'm driving. but today i felt it like it was shaking more and the service ride control light came on if anyone knows what it's wrong with and can help me.  Why is it doing it. thanks.

Answer -
What recent work of anykind what-so-ever have you had performed on the vehicle within the last month or 2 ?.

Answer -
Has or IS the check engine light ever illiminated on the dash ?.

You need to have your computers checked by Autozone and see if you get an code I039. Write down all the CURRENT codes that they find with their scanner and let me know what ones you get and ask them to CLEAR the codes and get back to me.

Answer
OK you can check it yourself by following these directives:

1. Ignition ON. Engine OFF.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons for 3 seconds and release them

3. CODES will start to appear in letters and numbers and then will stop displaying when you see PCM?.

4. Write down EXACTLY what displays on the display exactly as you see it.

To clear the codes:

1. You should still see PCM? on the display.

2. Push and release the HI button and you will see PCM DATA?.

3. Keep Pushing and releasing the LO button until you see
PCM CLEAR CODES? on the display.

4. Push and release the HI button and you will see PCM CLEAR CODES?.

5. Wait 3 seconds and turn OFF the ignition.

Drive the car around for awhile and see if the CHECK ENGINE light illuminates on the dash. If it does, Repeat the  procedures 1 thru 4 in the first paragraph and let me know what letters and numbers you get and let me know what they are then turn OFF the ignition key.
