Cadillac Repair: cornering lights, spare bulbs, cadillac sedan deville

Question
I have a 1988 cadillac sedan deville and I am having a problem with that white light that is located in the right side park light assembly around the corner from headlight. That is a high intensity bulb----I happened to have a few spare bulbs from a junker that are the same bulbs as the oem bulb. I cheked all bulbs in left side socket and all are working fine. My problem is that right side light isn't working and I also had some spare sockets that I used and replaced oem socket and still no working light. I hope that I am making sense to you. The spare bulbs and sockets are the same part # as oem. Could this be a more extensive wiring problem. What can you suggest? Can you please respond to my email with your diagnosis and also post my Q&A on site.
Thanx, Stuart
