Ok I cleared all the codes then ran the car around the block. The code I'm getting is E055 Current. All other codes are gone.

I have a 1991 Cadillac Seville, 4.9. The car prettymuch drives its self down the highway. I touch the gas one time and dont have to touch it again till I get off on my exit, its almost like my cruise control was on but it wasn't. This doesn't happen all the time but this morning my speed just kept increasing. I needed to put my brakes on several times to slow myself down. Once I exited my rpms returned to 625-650. Why does this only happen @ certain times? I'm getting codes E052 HISTORY, EO55 CURRENT, E098 HISTORY, E099 HISTORY, B120, B121, B122 B446 AND B552 ALL HISTORY.

CLEAR all your codes from the computers and see which codes return and let me know.

To CLEAR the "E: codes:

Do the same procedure that I gave you to get the codes.

You should now be seeing ECM?

Push and release the HI button and you will see ECM DATA?

Push and release the LO button until you see ECM CLEAR CODES?

Push and release the HI button and you will see ECM CODES CLEAR.

Wait 3 seconds and turn OFF ignition.

This will CLEAR the "E" odes.

Do the same procedure that I gave you to get the codes.

You should now be seeing ECM?

Push and release the LO button and you will see BCM?

Push and release the LO button until you see BCM CLEAR CODES?

Push and release the HI button and you will see BCM CODES CLEAR.

Wait 3 seconds and turn OFF ignition.

This will CLEAR the "B" codes.


Wait 2 minutes and restart the car and drive it if possible and see if the CHECK ENGINE light comes ON.

If it does, Retrieve the codes as I told you in the previous reply and let me know what the codes are now.
