Cadillac Repair: 85 Cadillac Seville Rear Calipers, cadillac seville, socket wrench

Question
I'm trying to rotate the piston back into the caliper, do they go clockwise or counter-clockwise? I bought a 'universal' cube shaped tool to use with a socket wrench + extension, but it doesn't seem to catch/fit in any of the D shaped depressions or the one groove on the face of the piston. Is there any other specific tool or other good trick to this?
