Cadillac Repair: Climate controls display, electrical schematics, climate controls

Question
I have a 1998 STS that I recently purchased.  Of course, something had to go wrong.  The electronic displays will not illuminate, but only  in the climate contol area.  Could this be a fuse or could it be some bigger electrical problem?  Is it something I can fix or do I have to bring it in and spend the big bucks? Help.
