Question -
hey Tom,

thanks for the quick reply. I'm assuming the codes you are talking about are displayed on the Fuel Data Center? When I first turn the ignition on the letter "L" is displayed. When I push the OFF and Warmer buttons the following codes appear: ..F, F32, .F.F, F32, .7.0

It's all Greek to me, but I sure appreciate the help. btw, I took it to Advance Auto and they could not read the codes with their code reader, and apparently they did not know about the OFF/Warmer button secret. The guy behind the counter suggested it was probably the speedometer sending unit attached to the transmission that is causing the problem, but I'll await your advice before I attempt to pull and replace it.

Thanks,
Dave

Question -
My 92 Fleetwood has both the check vehicle soon and check engine soon lights on. The digital speedometer reads zero, the engine runs rough, the a/c does not work, and it will not drop into passing gear. Then magically, the warning lights go off and everything works perfectly. What the heck is going on?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Dave

Answer -
What CODE are you getting from the computer ?.

1. Ignition ON. Engine OFF.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons for 3 seconds and release them.

3. Fault CODES will start to appear and then will stop.

4. write down the codes and tell me what they are.

5. turn OFF ignition.

Answer -
You have a failure in either the PCM and or the BCM computers as they are not communicating between themselves.

F32 = PCM-BCM Data problem.
