Cadillac Repair: No digital reading on the dashboard., 1989 cadillac fleetwood, cadillac fleetwood

1989 cadillac fleetwood- 4.5L V8 FWD

I let my friend hook a radio up in my car and it knocked out the dashboard of my car(It has digital reading).
Now my interior lights work and the dashboard will light up but i can't turn my cruise control on nor can I see how fast i'm going. I checked all the fuses under the dashboard, but there are none blown out. some of the relays under the hood have been checked and the ones that were checked was good.
I need some kind of insight on what to do or to check for.

In the original radio there are wires that range in voltages from 5 volt to 12 volt to 16 volt and no doubt he used a TEST LIGHT to locate the wires and has most likely fried the instrument panel in the vehicle. IF you still have the original radio try re-installing it by just hooking up the wirininr harnesses and see if your dashboard comes back to life.
