car shuts off when it feels like it somtimes hard to start sevice engine soon light come on sometimes an sometimes itis not on...take it to be serviced an they plug into computer an it tells then there is no connection ..they cant read the computer..so they tell me if they cant read the computer they cant fix the car....do I need another computer for the car

Try this:

1. Ignition ON. Engine OFF.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons on your climate control panel and when the whole display illuminates release the buttons.

2. CODES should start to appear and then STOP displaying.

3. write down the codes and tell me what they are.

4. turn OFF ignition.
