QuestionI have a 91 deville with a 5.9. I had some damage to the passanger side and had trouble with the door closing the trigger on the front post. I had a Secuirty light flashing, and if the door bumped the wrong way, the alarm would go off. I then removed the sensor, and just wired the two wires together. It worked for about 3 weeks. Last night i had my interior lights staying on. I check that connection, and when i pulled the wires apart the lights went off, but my security light will flash. I put them back together, lighs come on, and security light turns off. I am just worried, because if that light flashes too long it will kill the battery. Any ideas? I would like to just disable the security system, so it is not an issue, but i can't figure out how to. I thought just a fuse, but it didnt' work correctly.
AnswerI will NOT help you disable the security system, But I will help you fix it as well as the interior lights.
