Cadillac Repair: 1992 cadi deville, obd11, radio area

i just got my cadi and i need to hook up to the comp. but i cant find the plug can you help me i have a otc obd11 that gos to 1996 please help me thanks bruce

Hi Bruce, The plug/ALDL connector you are looking for is under the dash below the radio area. Sometimes there is a small plastic flap that is aprox. 11/2" X 31/2" or you might see some foam of that size in the opening. Behind that is the connector you seek.

   When plugging in or removeing your scan tool from the ALDL connector make sure the ignition key is turned off. Otherwise you could damage the scan tool or the computor.
