1997 Cadillac Seville SLS 4-door

Hey Tom,
Our diver side, driver window switch won't raise up. It has been "iffy" for a couple of weeks so we sprayed WD-40 into the crevice and it started working well again. It has now gotten stuck in down position and I'm hoping there may be a way that I can fix it with out buying a whole new four panel switch. Since it has gotten stuck we have tried WD-40 again and an electrical cleaner. Please give me some suggestions. Thank you, Tomi

Access the backside of the drivers switch and locate the DARK BLUE wire and the BROWN wire nand put a test light across these 2 wires.

When you push the switch UP or DOWN the test light should illuminate. If it does NOT replace the switch. If it DOES, check the motor connections within the door.
