SORRY! IT IS A CADILLAC ELDORADO 1988 WITH A DIGITAL DASH

I JUST REPLACED MY BATTERY. AFTER INSTALLED MY DASH LIGHTS GO ON AND
OFF, AND MY COOLING FAN RUNS CONSTANT. IT SEEMS LIKE THEY SWITCHED
DUTIES. PLEASE HELP!!! A FRIEND TOLD ME TO CHECK ALL FUSES, WHICH I DID. ALL
WERE GOOD. THEN HE SAID IT COULD BE MY COOLING FAN RELAY. I PULLED ALL FUSES AND CHECKED THEM WITH A TESTER. ALSO PULLED MY COOLING FAN RELAY AND TESTED IT. IT WAS FINE. I CAN'T THINK OF ANYTHING ELSE CAN YOU HELP?

YEAR-MAKE-MODEL would be nice to know. Also do you have an ANALOG dash or a DIGITAL dash ?.

When this happens the problem is a fault in the digital cluster and or the BCM (Body Computer Module). The fix was in most cases replacement of the BCM and sending out the cluster for repair. There was a factory technical bulletin out concerning this fault.
