Cadillac Repair: Pass Key 3 Programing, black key, dash lights

Hello...1999 Seville SLS ..I have 1 master key...picked up 2 blank transponder key's that I had cut....I need to activate the new Key's...What is the procedger for activating new key's? they are PK3...Thank You...BILL

Hi Bill, The procedure is to use your original black key to start the engine, let it run for a couple seconds and turn it off. Then with-in 10 seconds insert a new key into the ignition lock cylinder and turn it to the on position so all the dash lights come on. Once the serurity light turns off or if it never appeared to turn on repeat the sequence with the next key with-in 10 seconds. If the second key doesn't program then try the 1st new key and see if it will start the engine. If it doesn't start then use your original black key to begin the start sequence again and then the other 2 keys may program after that. It may take a couple times for you to get the relearn to take but the module has the capability to learn 10 keys so you should have plenty of room to spare in the module to hold the 2 new key codes.

    I have never had to do that procedure so let me know if you need more help. Hopefully it will work for you just fine. Bill
