QuestionOk I will do this, but I have noticed today when going out for lunch that there is a small odor, maybe the smell of gas or some type of fume. Is it worth paying someone $70 to evaluate the job that has been done on my car or should I just reset the error codes and see if they come back?

The check engine light is on and the digital dash flashes, (Service Ride Control and Service Emmissions System). How can I reset these. The car runs great and rides great. I just had a rebuilt engine put in it and dont understand this issue.
I checked the codes according to your previous instructions in (how do I reset the codes) and here is what I came up with:
pc0300 history
pc2056 current
pc1381 history
pc1520 history
pc1611 history
pc1652 current
pc0420 current
pc1377 history
no ipc
no acm
no sdm
no tcs
no rss data
no irc
no rfa

Answer -
Ignition ON, Engine OFF.
Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER button for 3 seconds and release them.
After all the codes display you will see PCM?
Push the HI button and release You wiil see PCM DATA?
Push the LO button and release until you see PCM CLEAR CODES?
Push the HI button and within 3 seconds the codes will clear.
turn off ignition.

Push and release the HI button and you will see PCM CODES CLEAR, Wait 3 seconds and then turn OFF the ignition.
Drive the car and see if the check engine light reappears and if it does recheck for codes and let me know what you got.
