Cadillac Repair: 1992 STS no fuel, fuel pressure gauge, computer module

Question
Thanks for the reply!  I have a fuel pressure gauge and when used the results are as follows:

1) With Key on, the gauge reads 50 lbs BUT as soon as the pump quits it drops to 40 lbs.  It will hold that pressure with the key off but slowly bleeds down to 20 pounds in about 2 hours.

I still have NO error codes in the system and the Scantool I have ( OTC from SPX ) also finds no items.  I observe some activity on the injector pulse but only during the first instance of start up.

Also , if I spray engine start in the throttle body, it will fire.

Bottom line is that I am not getting any fuel via the injectors I believe.

Recap of repairs in last year:

New Computer Module
New Alternator
New plugs, rotor, electronic module, wires

Thanks again for the help.

Question -
I have a 92 STS with 250K miles.  Parked the car and it would not start. No previous issues other than 1 year ago replaced computer module and alternator.
Appears to be spark as it will run if I spray starting fluid into the throttle body.  Battery went dead and my son cleared all the error codes.
It appears to NOT be getting any fuel. Replaced fuel filter and the fuel pump appears to be okay as it pressurizes fuel rails.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,

What is your fuel pressure and recheck the computer for codes.

Answer
try and start it again and then recheck for any codes. Your fuel pressure is OKas it should be around 40 lbs at the injectors.

pull one of the fuel injector wires off and put a 12 volt test light across the wiring harness terminals and watch to see if the test light flashes on and off as you crank the engine.

If you do not get any test light flashes I would suspect the cam sensor in the distributor  (Hall Effect) but it should put a code in the computer if it is not firing.

let me know.
