Cadillac Repair: 1995 Cadillac DeVille 4.9L, cadillac deville, throttle plate

Question
The message "very low refridgerant A/C compressor off" appears on the dashboard display when I try to turn on the A/C to recharge the R134 system, the compressor will not come on and no R134 is accepted.  What do I have to do to get the comp. on so that I can recharge the R134?
When I simultaneously push and hold the off and warmer buttons on my climate control panel the following codes appear, "P039 history, P052 history, P066 history, P085 current, No IPC, Code A047 current, No SIR code, code T061 history, PCM?".  What does this all mean?            Thank-you,  PSM

Answer
First you have to CLEAR all the codes. Then you need aset of AC gages to monitor the pressure, Either jumper the A/C relay or disconnect the 2 wire connector at the compressor and put a ground to one terminal and battery voltage to the other terminal on the compressor to engage it and then add your freon to manufacturers capacity via the AC gages and your AC will run again.

hen you need to clean the throttle plate and surrounding area of the normal crud buildup and that should resolve all your problems.
